make sure you get that drive shaft rebuilt if it hasnt been already.

Whats the story with the driveshaft? Are there defects? Haven't heard of this yet. Thanks.

Wow, good lookin out! I probably wouldn't have read that for a couple weeks and who knows it could have been too late. I'll get that done ASAP. It's not going to be my daily driver at this point so I have the time to get her in shape. Thanks again guys, you may have saved me from alot of grief!

Was there ever a recall for this issue? Will LR give me any assistance?

HA!

NO... Sorry friend, they won't. I just put a $5200 engine block in mine, because cylinder sleeve separation and block cracks are "....fairly common.....".
