Default My front bumper trim job (pic)

last weekend i hammered a soldering iron tip sharp and cut thru the bumper to give myself better approach angles. still thinking about what to do with the center portion of the bumper and where to trim it. as of now im keeping the brush guard on to use as semi-steering protection. you can see it took a pretty nice hit on a rock and is now leaning a little bit toward the passenger side.

Looks good...I'm hoping to do this before heading out to MAR tomorrow evening. Of course, I still need to change the tranny fluid, wire up some trailer lights, and install my DI CDL...so this might not quite get done...

you can skip installing the D1 CDL if you have a stubby 10 mm open end wrench you can click the CDL over from underneath.

I like this look! I have been considering this myself, but I can't decide what to do with the fender liner. What did you do?

absolutely! Don't start that project if you're leaving tomorrow. It's a major PITA and takes longer than you think.

going to take a good look at it this weekend and decide what to do. i really like the way it looks need to do some sanding to where i trimmed previously and decide what to do with the center part, might just cut up to that metal mesh bit. trying to get so much done before ROTR!

I have seen trucks where the mesh was removed and a winch was hidden in behind. Just a thought...
