The cost has a lot of factors but Alternative Conversion Engineering LLC has a list here.

I'm going to the junkyard and grabbing a spare air box to cut up and see if i can make it work.

I may just go with an oil/air filter. While it's a little loud perhaps, it offers by far the best flow/filtration of any filter style. Granted I'll have to clean it a couple times a year but I'm used to that from motocross my whole life so that's no big deal. I do it in a plastic bag so I don't get all messy. I like the airbox idea, I suppose if something with it doesn't work out... Look up "UNI" filter brand. Hands down your best brand option for a filter. Anything but K&N.... can't believe those haven't been removed from the market yet lol.

I put a Uni on my S2000, stole one rated for 800hp typically used for LSX built motors and figured that's plenty of CFM according to the charts. On our motors we'll be able to run half that size which would make it quite compact.

if it wasn't for the snorkel I would be fine going with an oil/air cone filter but I would end up cleaning it a ton. CO roads are super dusty later in the wheeling season. If I go this route for a power upgrade then I'm sure I will be able to come up with some sort of "airbox" that would still work with the snorkel.

Good evening to you sir, I am currently trying to do the same swap to a 2006 disco 3 like yours. Would you be available to get a parts list needed from you?
