Default Congradulations..

Congradulations and welcome to the short bus crew....

1st; try not to mention the word blown, as they have a tendency to do that..

2nd; develop and thick skin and a real big sense of humor...

3rd; this will require excessive alcohol to help with fixing things on your truck

4th; read threw the 60k service and do it....if no mechanical experience, go find a indy LR mechanic and become his best friend. Bringing 12 packs by on friday afternoons will get you points... If not, your in for some real pain...mentaly....

5th; if you do have a question or problem, post it here after you read threw the posts, rave which you can download here, and post symtoms.... and then just beg....

6th; when you exhaust all 5 steps , go to step 3...that will usally solve it...

Welcome to ....well.....you'll figure it out and it's not disneyland...

Default My New 04' Disco II SE (Repairs done since April 10')

The Truck just turned 100K on the odometer, I have the receipts from the work done about 2 months ago where the following was replaced:

Oxygen sensor Front:

Oxygen Sensor Rear:

Replaced Radiator:

Coolant Hose Rad Upper:

Coolant XLC Orange:

Replace Coil Assy W/bracket OEM:

Replace Ignition Cable Set wit A.I.R Pump

Ignition Coil (1 Bank)

Oil and Filter Change (4/10/2010)

Replace A/M Intermed Muffler OEM

Replace LC Converter California OEM
-----------------------------------------

This is all work that the vehicle had completed in April of this year, on top of these fixes what else should i be looking for? I know the Drive shafts need to be Rebuilt or replaced, is there a particular brand i should go with and what should i look for to see if it has already been done.

Thanks Again

Default Thank you

Thanks for all the tips, I am now going to spend my day researching the drive shafts and a place to have it done around here.
I don't have a house yet so i am at a loss for doing it myself, which i believe i could handle, but doing it in the parking garage of my building might not be kosher with the management.

Phil: I can see we will get along smashingly!
