My roof rack/ light bar

My roof rack/ light bar
so I decided to convert my cross bar into a light bar. I just wanted something simple. Unfortunately 10 months out of the year my truck is a mall crawler/ grocery getter. But I wanted something for the bad weather, and hunting and what not.

I ran the factory switch to a relay under the hood.

thanks guys. I got the hook up on a nice factory light switch. does anyone know if it does any good to switch 55w h3 halogen bulbs with Led bulbs. the best I can tell from online reviews is that you get a better color but the same or worse visibility. has to do with the non directionality of the led.

Setup looks good! The extra relay is not needed to handle the load of the lights for switching, but it would give you a couple nice advantages if you have a problem with the lights.
1) If one relay goes bad, you would have some light through the other relay.
2) If you loose just the lights on one relay, you would know the problem was from that particular relay out to the lights, and not the wiring back to the switch that controls both relays.
Just saying.
