Name of o-ring
Can anyone tell me the name of the o-ring that goes on this bolt? It sis the bolt you see in the middle of the picture. I have an oil leak there.

Pretty simple fix if I can get the right part. Woudl guess that best to do it at next oil change.

Gearbox? I don't think so...
It's where the engine oil cooler hose goes on pre 2003 models, for 2003/2004 they dropped the engine oil cooler and plugged the holes. There is a nylon seal on the end of the plug, not an o ring. I would use some plumbers tape and tighten it up.

Gotcha, that is what I did. I just thought that the plumbers tape might not hold permantly. I would really rather not get any more oil on the drive way.

Just re-read your post. I actually have a 2002. Any chance that they made the switch for 2002 models???
AFAIK the 2002 had the engine oil cooler, but I could be wrong. That's interesting though, someone could have swapped in a 2003/2004 4.6 or simply unplugged the oil cooler. The oil coolers sit in front of the radiator, the tranny cooler at the top and the engine cooler below. See if you have an engine oil cooler sitting there, you may see the cooler connections sticking out next to the radiator.
