I am looking at purchasing a Nanocom Evolution.
Can anyone give me their experience with one?
I have looked at their site and from what I gather, I need the NCOM04 Discovery II Motronic Petrol V8 kit.

 

I did much research a couple of years ago. It came down to the Hawkeye or Nanocom as both offered the option of re-programming keys.

I ended up with the Nanocom as it was a smaller unit and will fit inside the center console. I carry it with me everywhere in the Disco, especially for off-roading and overland activities.

I ordered direct from the Black Box Solutions website. This was a couple of years ago. The folks are based in Cyrpus. I recollect the shipment arrived in a couple to few weeks.

I definitely recommend the Nanocom.

P/S. No need to pay the extra VAT since you are based in the States.

 

I have one, no complaints, it does what I expect it to and definitely comes in handy. I keep it in the center console of the truck like acg mentioned.

 

I love it. They also offer a windscreen mount and you can run it in gauges mode kind of like an ultra gauge or scan gauge.

They usually have a GREAT sale at Christmas time.

The motronic V8 kit is what you need. It should mention that it comes with wabco SLABS support, valeo BCU support, and the bosch ECU/TCM support. There was talk about them adding the cruise control too, but I don't know if that happened.
