Need 4in Springs...Who?

Good thing you didn't ask this 4" lift question on the British Land Rover forums. If you even mention that you want to lift your truck in the forums, the natives become restless. To them it's total blasphemy and ridiculous to lift or mod your Land Rover from factory specs. They think I'm "mad" for having a 2" lift.

I think many of them learn it costs 3-5k (to do it right) and they don’t see themselves spending that kind of money so they hate on it.
all my parts are brand new so I will eventually go over 5k...but you could buy all used parts....and get it safely lifted for less

Older being the key word. Who would think that older springs could be better?
10" travel? Those are only +2" shocks. 10" in entire length? I don't think that would even fit, and if it did you'd have no up travel.

I've tried all the springs: OME HD 763, RTE new ones, and TF HD.
I had the same issue with all of them.. sagged 2"+ within 2-months in the rear
I was definitely too heavy, and kept all the weight in there 24/7. I've since cut 200+ pounds so I might try another spring soon, after I finish installing lockers and 35s
I'm currently on RTE front springs and TF HD rear springs. The front right RTE spring is 1" lower than front left. The TF rears are actually holding up pretty good so far, I have 21.5" from wheel center to fender, with 2" spacers, so about 2.5" lift
The problem with all of them is that they are too short. You have to use 2" spacers on the OME springs to get 3" of lift.
I don't know what the best solution is... I've considered having custom springs made at coilsprings.com. They're about $450. I think a longer spring with a softer rate would be ideal, but I have no idea.
