Default timing gear cover need another quick response

im trying like hell to get the front timing cover off it wont buge,all the bolts are off .......any tips???????????? is it because of sealant

I could be wrong on this one but I think you have to drop the pan.

your right,the sump is off already........... cover is not moving

It has been sealed so it is stuck, you need a bigger hammer.
Just be-careful not to break it as it is only aluminum.

What I did was from underneath wacked the front cover with a dead blow to get it broken loose then used a small pry bar to get it going. Then you can grab the sides and wiggle it off. If you think getting it off was hard wait until you try to get it back on, that's fun stuff.
