Default In need of a cheaper T-case

Well. Mine is bleeding oil like no other and the it looks like the front output shaft is almost kaput. There is a decent amount of play in there now and I think it's ruining my front driveshaft.

I'd like to get another on the bench so I can swap out what seals I can, clean is and just swap them out over the weekend.

It needs to have CDL

I'm currently in southern California if anyone has anything

Got it...

Just out of curiosity, how difficult is it to replace the one bearing and the seals on the T-case?

I've never pulled one out of a vehicle before.

I guess I need to know if I'm wasting my time trying to replace the one front output bearing and the seals by removing my t-case.

If anyone has done this job I would appreciate some input

Haven't done the job, and my lunch break is over so I'll make it quick:

Sounds like it is doable, even in place (but a PITA). Much easier, allegedly, if you can drop it in place on a hydraulic platform/jack.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about getting another new T-case just yet. I'd drop the one you have, fix the seal, and call it a day.

T-case is an LT-230. I did a quick search for you and brought this up. Most are defender owners (I guess we disco owners don't use ours off-road enough to make them fail! Or maybe our Cardon shaft keeps stresses down so it doesn't usually fail):

They claim it's not that difficult, with the proper tools of course.

Good luck!
