Need help ASAP. Removing fuel line from lower intake.

The last step to get my lower intake off and removing the heads is pulling the fuel line from the rear of the lower intake.

I'm afraid of just pulling on an important part like this.

How does that connector work?

The grey release button was under the tape and away from me.
