Default Need help find directions!

I got one of these babies for christmas:

http://www.roversnorth.com/store/p-6...-assembly.aspx

Unfortunatly it didnt come with directions for installation. I want to see if it something I can do before I bring it in to my guy to have itwired. More than likely I will end up bringing it in anyways, but hey, its worth a look right??

So any idea of where I can get the directions? I looked around but no luck.....

Thanks Guys!

There is a switch on the light itself.
Its not really a driving light so there is no need for an interior switch.

Not sure, I havent even asked him about it. He usually very fair with price, he's an ex-Land Rover mechanic with his own shop so is main goal is to be better, and cheaper than LR. Im wondering if there is a way to wire it from the back... I'll have to see the directions first.

I assume it's just run 12 volts to one wire, ground to the other, bolt onto truck

where are you mounting it?

That is a really easy install. The only hard part is running the wires from the back of the vehicle to the battery (my recommendation). If you have someone else do the install you may want to consider having a "master" switch put inside the truck so that you can't have it turn on at the wrong time and blind someone behind you. Just a safeguard that could prevent a ticket. Both the switch inside and the one on the light itself would have to be on for the light to work. It sounds like you have very little experience with wiring so if you do it yourself I would keep it simple and run the wires straight to the battery with a fuse inline and call it good. If you want to do it yourself I can draw up a diagram showing how to wire it and email it to you.

I really appreciate it, but I think I might bring it in.
I have zero knowledge of how to wire stuff. The best I can do ona car is change oil and tires (and cut off a resonator..) The rover has taught me alot about the basics, but wiring is not something I have even tried.....

I sent an email to rovers north and they are going to send me directions, but im sure an ex-rover mech. will know how to do it with his eyes shut.
