Default Need Help Finding the Right Discovery II

Hello, I live in the US and I’m trying to find a Discovery Series II that is RIGHT HAND DRIVE in the US. All the auction sites and sales sites haven’t given me a clue. I’ve looked at importing, but I’d rather prefer to stay away from that route due to the shipping being almost twice the price of the car. Haven’t yet looked at converting LHD to RHD but I’d imagine it’s complicated if not impossible. Any info helps, thanks.

Why would you want a RHD in the US?

Honestly, I don’t know. I’ve driven RHD cars before so I know how to handle them. I’m just looking for a vehicle that I can make... mine, I guess. Something that’s a little bit off and recognizable.

I imagine since the disco 2 was so common in the states you'd have to import. Check on japanese auto trader type sites. They're probably the cleanest vehicles you could import, would most likely be RHD and might even be diesel

I though you could swap almost everything from a LHD to RHD with some unbolting, remounting and rewiring.
That’s if you really want to go that route.

Most places in the US and Canada have no emission testing. Even so, they would likely test it as a hot rod

Postal route drivers look for them frequently.
