Default Need Help to identify part on right engine bay

Hi, I am trying to learn more about the 2003/2004 Secondary Air Injection system. Unfortunately, I can't find any info in the Rave (under section 17-2) or the parts catalog to identify and explain the purpose of the circled part that sits on the right side of the engine bay, in the area between the fuel leak detection pump filter cylinder and the coolant tank.

Does anyone know what this part is called or its purpose please?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah I think that is the pump that does the suction for the plenum that is just above it. The plenum being this part:

Thank you!

This makes sense. I had a brain fart working in the hot sun. I thought it was related to an SAI function. But I did not realize the throttle cable was connected to the vacuum chamber.
