I own an 02 disco with a completely rusted nudge bar. it needs to come off obviously but i have no clue how to get it off myself and don't want to pay for it to be removed. any help?

 

Is it a stock or aftermarket bar? A picture might be required because there are a few possibilities.

There are two flat brackets that slide through the lower bumper and are attached to brackets on the frame with, IIRC, two bolts each. There are also metal "winglets" that come out where the front bumper meets the front fender just in front of your tires. These winglets bolt to the guard wrap arounds with a allen headed bolt.
