Need help w/ locating side steps
#11
The saga continues with the Running Board Warehouse. Today I called again and got a different story from them. Now I was told that they are made in Spain and they have no idea when I will get them. This was after 1) I was told they were in stock at their facility, 2) I was told they were shipping to me last week. If they do not arrive this week I am getting w/ Paypal and canceling the order. Be aware that they do not have what they say they do.

Anyone know of where to get some side steps for my 00 disco? I have done the usual search thing and can't really find what I want. I would like to get some simple 3" round black tube type that I can stick some non-skid on for stepping in. I was able to find brackets from OE running boards that I can weld tabs to. I just don't want the bulky stock running boards. I really just want generic nerf bars.

When choosing running boards is to make sure they include mud flaps on their front end. Too often, owners are obligated to remove their OEM mud flaps to make way for the boards. If you don't mind hosing down mud and having your rocker panels mauled by debris, then go ahead. Otherwise, go for boards with mud flaps. You don't have to look too far and wide
