Rover is 8 .1 feet tall with the mods, lift rack sand boards big spare tire with extension, ARB with winch etc etc. I need a BIG cover. Something you can drive into .. or lock would be great.

Not like driving into or lock, but I use a rectangular army surplus parachute on another large vehicle and am happy. Was like $40 ten+ years ago. I secure it taut with strong magnets with a removal pull handle on them. I would not recommend for leaving under rain.

A custom molded fit can be made sewing together a few of those blue/grey chinese tarps.

 

Is there anything I can buy that fits out of the box and is waterproof and soft on the paint?

The parachute is gonna be bad for the paint job ...

 

Will be very difficult to find one to fit a custom dimensioned Disco. Perhaps you have never handled a parachute ? Paint mostly suffers if cover is flapping on the wind.
