I live in a snowy environment and those tires are really not great in the snow the Cooper Maxx are aggressive but also can go in the snow. Tire rack gave the grabber a 2 in snow and gave the cooper a 6

You are correct. I am not familiar with the 18" wheel sizes. I know when I ran the 265/75/16s on stock alloy wheels I rubbed slightly at full lock on the radius arms. There was still plenty of space for the tire to stuff up inside the wheel well so that could be corrected with a different offset wheel.

That's fair. I thought you mentioned the STT Pros which would be a X3 competitor. MTs are never going to score as well as a AT (which I'd say the MAXX are) on snowy roads.

The wheel and tire setup I’m doing next is the challenger wheels with cooper Maxx. You don’t see this wheel often

I ended up going with LT275/65/18 cooper adventurers from pep boys. I put 50 miles a day on them commuting on the highway. Pretty quiet. They rub a bit on tight turns in the parking lot but other than that they seem good.

Next week I will find out how they do off road as I am hitting the Georgia traverse.
