Default Need recommendation for double sided tape

I need a recommendation for good strong but thin double sided tape similar to the tape Land Rover uses to attach the stock fender flares on.

I'm wanting to reattach some fender flares and other trim pieces but I can't seem to find a good tape solution.

Does anyone have a good suggestion?

Thanks,

That "fender tape" is just scotch/3m "Extremely Strong" double sided tape, you can pick it up at the Home Depot if you need it quickly. You might have to cut it, I like how the linked item already comes in thin strips. A word of warning, I've used this stuff before and it sticks extremely well, I put some on a piece of wood to mount something "temporarily" and when I tried to remove it it took the top layer of wood off.

I went to remove my flares and found that a previous accident had left the passenger rear quarter panel a bit crunched underneath the flare. Since it was no longer flat, I reattached it with silicone sealant.

Curious to know how you removed your flares...

The plastic bits are just held on with double sided tape. You can either pull htem off or use some braided fishing line to cut through the adhesive without harming the paint. You'll want a rubber wheel drill bit thing to remove the residual adhesive after you pull them off, and a hair dryer to help soften the adhesive. I think that it looks quite a bit better without the flares, since the body is just molded with a similar pattern, and most of the fender flares themselves are no longer black, and a faded grey color. Regardless of color, it sitll looks better without them.

Someone somewhere recommended this to get rid of the residual adhesive:
Amazon Amazon

Here's an old post with some pictures:
