Those codes are for your engine running too rich on both sides. I'm not sure the SAI has anything to do with it. Read through the Rave CS/Shop manual for some ideas on how the engine and emissions monitoring system works

well now I am really at a loss. I took it to the dealer today for the ses and after everything they told me they had to reset mixture adaptations???????????????// anyone think that the answer??????????? Also my buttons on my passenger seat had fallen off, and I needed them put back on. well this is what i wrote the dealer!!!!!!
Fred, how are you? I think we have a major problem. I got home and the ses light so far is great, but other stuff is bad. I had you guys fix my passenger side seat buttons and now that console is smoking!!!! I took a ride and the whole console started smoking, and now the back windows will not go up or down. It smells like something is burning badly. Like you know I am an hour from you I dont know if I can get there, please get back to me asap.

Well.... If this were my vehicle, I would start with a simple tune up (Air and fuel filters, NGK spark plugs, new plug wires) and go from there. Maybe an induction cleaning, if you're so inclined to do one.

One thing I've found out since owning my Disco.... the smallest things make the sensors wig out like crazy, then the engine runs bad. Go with your gut before you start chasing down codes.

Roverpatsfan I was wondering if your service engine light is still off? I have been fighting with the 1172 and 1175 also.

Ya as of right now it is still off, that doesn't mean next time I start it up It will be still off. I replaced my Maf, and I guess when you do that you have to reset mixture adaptations. I took it to the dealer and they did that and I have driven probably 100 miles and nothing yet. What is going on with you truck/????

Over the past 6 months I have replaced headgaskets, plugs, wires, water pump, hoses, belt. I have been getting 4 codes since the headgaskets, plugs, wires, ect. They are 0004, 1100, 1172, 1175. I am to broke to go to the dealer and I have searched a lot of forums only to come up without an answer. Some people thought that it could be the MAF or 02 sensors. Hopefully your light stays off.

I hope so too. I was getting th first 4 codes and replaced the maf, which is very easy to do if you can afford it. Now at 100 miles its still off so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
