Default Need some ideas!

OK need some ideas I broke the tube that hooks up to this http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/WAV100380G.cfm my question is can I cap this off Brian with Atlantic British said they are out of stock and has no idea if or when they will be in stock!!
I have tryed to coupling it back together but the hose will just melt!

did you check outher parts places besides AB? like Rovers North?

what kind of tube is it? ... you could trying taken it to a parts store and seeing if they have something that would work, are you useing the word tube and hose as the same? they might not have a perfect match but you might be able to find something that will work

roverguy.com sells used parts at good prices, and there's roverlandparts.com. Either one could get you one pretty quick

Thanks I will try them both the dealer wants $250.00 for one!! and can get it in a few weeks.

Well the best fix I could do I used some mufler repair tape and some 1500 deg tape along with same cable clamps.

Weld it ? or just block off the Vac line going to it.. It's just secondary air injection valve.. Doesn't really do anything special.. I come from a BMW racing background and everyone with BMW's take them off the cars as soon as they break..

I didnt think of that can I do that??? So it just wont heat up my cats right??
