You can't "rip out" the immobiliser, but it can be disabled once you're able to get into the vehicle. Same with superlock.
If you're planning on keeping the truck, you'll need to invest in a Rover-capable code reader/programmer that can change these types of settings.

How is the battery charge? Rovers do weird things when the voltage is low. The fact that you're hearing the actuators click when you turn the key in the door indicates that the link pin between the key barrel and the lock mechanism is intact, which is a big plus.

What does your battery voltage look like? You might have to figure out some creative way of finding that out from underneath the vehicle (and to hook up a charger, if that's the case) seeing as how you can open the door to unlatch the hood. As others have said, if you need to break a window break the rear quarter window- now you have a good excuse to turn it into a "gullwing" access panel to get in the rear cargo area (look it up on YouTube, it's pretty cool).

The only place I can think of to check power or connect a charger is at the starter.

Battery voltage only helps if you are using the dash switch or key fob to open the truck. If the key cylinder turns and the rod is in place it will unlock the drivers door. You can drill out the lock cylinder and turn the lock actuator to unlock the drivers door. You can break the quarter window in the rear door (smallest window on the truck and easy to replace with a door frame replacement).

Or the trailer plug.

Atleast the 13 pin socket with all connected has live positive.
Don't know what kinda sockets are in use in the US.

Windows are easy to replace, cheap too. Dont feel bad if you go that route, you probably have a failed regulator anyway that will need replacing too.

Love the color.
I’m going to try one more thing ( going in the rear license plate holes and trying to snag the rear hatch lock mechanism ) before I try this. Thank you!

thanks for the love on the color. It’s growing on me. But I think it’ll look nice decked out.

Battery is fine. I can open the hood from the front grille with my hand. Battery is full.
