What do you mean by "had computer rewired"? All it should take is a OBD2 scanner to clear the codes but if the problem isn't fixed they will come back. I would say that there is about a 90% chance that new plugs and wires will fix your O2 sensor codes. Go with 8mm Magnecors and Bosch Platinum +4 plugs (my personal preference).

I just noticed that you have a K&N air filter listed in your signature. You may want to get rid of that and go back to a paper filter since K&N air filters are known for destroying the D2 MAF. The oil from the filter destroys it.

Sounds like your computer should be good to go. I prefer the +4s because they work well in my truck. I have actually seen an improvement in mileage and power with the +4s and magnecor wires.

The D2 MAF is really sensitive. Even cleaning it can completely kill it. Some people have had good luck using K&N air filters in a D2 but most end up replacing the MAF.

get 8mm wires,,,

iridiums are the best thing in the world. they are in every vehicle i own.

dump the k&n filter. besides the fact that IF you truly are getting more air into the motor it has to compensate for the lean condition by adding more fuel. in theory its just making a bit more power but at a cost in fuel and 9 times out of 10 the cost of a new MAF. get a stock filter,,,

and you may or may not see any gain in gas mileage. really the best way to get better mileage after a tune up is to change your driving habits. these are heavy rigs with not so powerful engines. so momentum is your friend. any time you can avoid stopping and starting you are helping. roof racks kill mileage,,,, i went from 16 hwy to about 12.

always use premium gas if you have not already been.

thats it,,,enjoy
