Default New to the Disco!

Hey All,

I'm a hard core Jeeper - but I come in peace...and respect for the LR! I've had em before, but they were always the expensive ones. I bought an '06 RR HSE for my wife a little while ago. I talked her into it because of LR's reputation & the fact that I come from a Scottish/Welsh family. Anyway - we'd had the rig a week or two & she was out of town for business...so I took it to our place in the Big Bear area. Long story short...I scratched it up pretty good on some rocks.

Like I said before, I love Jeeps but have always loved the the LR's. I just recently came across a '94 Disco. The guy needed the $ bad & sold it to me for a song. He'd just put a new lift on it & had the rr redone. Brand new mudders & black steelies too. I think he left everything else stock (drivetrain wise).

Roof rack & rear bumper. Super clean inside and out with only 90k on the clock. What do you guys suggest I do to make it (more) trail ready. I'm already in the process of a winch & front bumper.

What does coming from a Scottish/Welsh family have to do with anything?

How serious are you wanting to be off road, are you looking at lockers, gears??
What front bumper and winch are you looking at?

I would start with all the fluids and plugs and wires.

looks great! I plan on setting mine up like that one day with TSLs and a rack. If you're going to be doing a lot of rock crawling then armor underneath and sliders would be a good idea.
