Rebuilt mine this weekend. Got the Neapco U-joints from Advance Auto (part # 1-0005 ~ $40) and a Precision/Moog 617 (spacer bearing ~ $25): first time and it took me an afternoon of work. Cheaper than buying a new one, but then I've got my SLS to play with next...

Looks like you painted that? After you fix the dent in your hood from resting your driveshaft on it, I hope you get it balanced.

haha dent in a hood from a drive shaft... When I painted my hood I was kneeling on it, they're pretty strong.

Does anyone have the part #s for an 04 rebuild (U-Joints/Spacer)? How much more work is a rebuild vs replace?

Replacing requires 8 new nylock nuts and a soft pad to lay on (maybe some PB blaster the day before) and about 20 mins of work.

Rebuilding requires 3 new u-joints, new centering ball, a ball-joint press, slide hammer, a dictionary of multi-lingual profanity, a punching bag, some bandaids, 8 new nylock nuts and a soft pad to lay on (maybe some PB blaster the day before) and about a day of work.
