Default New "genuine part" rotoflex coupling with no steel bolt hole liners...?

Recently purchased and installed a rotoflex (purchased from dealership in a genuine part box) that had no steel bolt hole liners...had a feeling that it would begin to distort, and it has.

I will be taking it back, but what the hell? Is this the new standard replacement, or was I ripped off?

Found one on Atlantic British with the liners, so will be ordering it.

BTW, great forum. Helps me all the time!

Take it back and talk to the parts manager about getting this resolved, you have a one year warranty and they should make it right for you.
