Well, I think I am going to try black now. I had though about going black with the wheels as well since I have a spare set, but I don't want to "murder" it out as they say... I might try a darker grey.

Pink looks aweful tempting. Then I could pain my diff covers to match and get neons to go around it....

The airflow is actually better now, suprisingly enough. It ran cooler on a hotter day while pulling the boat.

I think it looks good. If anything, it at least separates you from the other Disco owners out there. If I were to choose between the two colors I would probably go with black because of the lack of chrome on the rest of the truck (it kind of stands out too much with the silver but thats just my opinion). Would you mind sharing the secret on how you went about making it. Thanks alot and good job

Cut out the center with a round cut off disc on a grinder and glued the wire mesh in with a 2 part epoxy. Then I glued the emblem on for kicks...

I think the chrome does look out of place because there isn't any other chrome pieces on the vehicle. If you look at vehicles that come with a stock chrome grill, there are often other pieces in the mix that are also chrome. Being that you're probably not going to pimp ur ride by having custom chrome pieces throughout, go black.

I know people keep saying chrome, but it is the same metal flake silver as the wheels.....
