Default New Grille Project Done

So as part of my ongoing facelift, I finally got all the mods done to fit a 2003 Range Rover grill on my disco. I rather like how it turned out. It was a pretty easy fit except for the bending. The Range Rover grill is more curved so to have it fit the disco it needs to be flattened a little. I flattened mine by laying it face down on a piece of plywood, then placing one foot on each end, stood on the grill to force it to flatten. While standing on it, I used a propane torch to get the plastic playable to hold the new curve, then it was just making some tabs to hold it in place. Still need a new emblem, but the hard work is done. I think I will get a lot more airflow in there now too. Next steps are an ARB bumper and putting on the 04 roof rails I picked up last week.

Sorry backina88, I originally uploaded the photo upside down, so I had to edit the post and remove the upside down pic and replace it, hopefully I never see my disco upside down!

That does look pretty cool.
Unfortunately I would have to cut it all up to clear my winch, so no point.

I like it. Good job.

Looks like a LR badge is supposed to fit in there?
