Default New Head Gaskets, still getting cylinder 4 misfire

So, was getting a cyclinder 4 misfire due to what seems to be coolant leaking in to the cylinder. Engine would run rough and SES light would flash for a bit when I first started the engine and I had coolant loss as well as pressure in the expansion tank. So I went ahead and replaced the head gaskets. Had the cylinder head pressure tested to make sure there was no cracks or anything odd with it and put it all back together and the engine ran fine the first 10 to 15 miles or so and the SES light went out. Today I went to start the engine and its starts to do the same thing, cylinder 4 missfire. Not sure what else it could be, plugs and wires were replaced a while back. Any one else have this issue or have any tips? The engine has never overheated and the only code i am throwing is the cylinder 4 misfire. Thanks

Valves could be sticking. This will make a misfire too.
Probably change around oils - put in thin Synthetic to try to clear the valves so that they will not stick.
There is a guy who went all thru this..

Eric Burrows..

Well, this will not make you happy but..

Do a leak down test on the cylinder in question, it sounds like you may have a cracked cylinder sleeve. Coolant leaks into the cylinder once the engine cools, which causes a misfire when the engine is started. Once the coolant is blown out through the exhaust, it runs fine until the next morning.

I just scanned my Disco 2 yesterday and the following errors were recorded :
Oxygen sensor heater bank 1&2
emission relevant misfire multiple cylinder
catalyst damaging misfire cylinder 4
Permanent voltage supply fault

My mechanic now suggested that I should have all the nozzles serviced and replace the two upstream oxygen sensors.

Finally, my silencer sound is not smooth and I was told that there is something inside the tail silence that make the sound to be smooth and cool, that this stuffs has been burnt out. Do anyone here know the name of this stuff and where can I get one to buy?

Thanks and your inputs are valued.

Replace the two upstream sensors.
Replace the spark plug wire on #4. Inspect the boot for heat cracks on the wire.
Clean battery terminals.

Clear all codes and try again.

TD5 BLOCK HAS SLEEVE? i THOUGHT IT IS CAST IRON.

this could be cylinder head issue or block surface. did u pay attention to your previous head gasket? usually problem can be read easily from head gasket or cylinder block surface or cylinder head itself upon removal. coolant in cylinder?? possible crack cylinder wall?

MY SUGGESTION... GET A BLOCK, RESURFACE UR CYLINDER HEAD.
HOPE THIS HELPS...

Hope this helps.

You might check your injector seals. I was getting misfires, replaced the coil packs, plug wires and plugs only to find I had bad seals.

Put smoke near it and see if the smoke sucks in?
Due to the location of those - it would be rather hard.
