Default New headlamp bulbs

Hello,

Just looking for comments on headlamps, particularly bulbs. I guess for one, how do you know what bulbs are compatible, and two, does anyone have any experience with these new 'brighter' bulbs, e.g.:

GE NightHawk Halogen Lamp Bulbs | Canadian Tire

Thanks!

i had the ultra bright white sylvania silverstar ultras in my old cars, they where AWESOME, and werent off color or HID annoying to other drivers, just very pure white in color made driving at night much more comfortable, and the overlap area between the two beams was easily twice whatever stock bulbs where in my crown vic, it was like having highbeams on all the time without the super high/long throw that would kill incomming cars.

i plan on putting them in my disco if i ever get the f**king thing back.

jsut remember, do NOT touch the glass of the bulbs while installing, wear latex gloves or use a papertowel and jam a decent amount of bulb grease in the terminal sockets so they dont rust out from water sitting in between the contacts and theyll last much much longer.

I run Silverstar Ultras as well. They are AWESOME! Nice bright clean white.

I agree with all those above about the Silverstar ultra. Don't have them in the Rover, but put them in a Saab and it was almost like the HID lights in my other cars. If a headlight goes in the Rover, I will 100% put those in.

The silverstars look amazing, but everyone I know that has used them complains that they don't last very long.

I'm thinking these are worth a gamble:
9007 Super White Halogen Headlight Bulb
"HID appearance"

I use the sylvania xtravision H7 they can be bought at any auto parts store. They are not as white as the ultras, but not dull yellow like stock.
