Dealer, or an indi shop with equipment that will do it, any shop that says Land Rover on it should be able to program a key.

Is it one of the chip keys or just the remote/key combo?

I can program it, if you are local.

The top link is a spreadsheet found in second link that allows you to take the inner key code (6 digit alphanumeric) and converts to the bar code. I purchased a new fob/key from BP of Utah and used the inner code to confirm the spreadsheet bar code. Perfect match. From the thread you'll see that Hawkeye can program from bar code, ditto with Advanced Diagnostics machine. Nanocom uses the inner key code.

Not directly related, but as a second key for my wife's 2002 disco I went to home depot and got a blank key and then took it to an ace hardware that had an old-school side cutting key machine and had them copy the original key. Of course, it doesn't have the remote stuff, but it works the ignition and will set the alarm with the door lock. Total cost--$5.00.
