Default new to me 03 Disco 2

Hi all,
Im the happy new owner of an 03 Disco SE7 and as i'm going through it making sure its tip top I have found a few isues i could use some help with.

1st. At cold startup when it high Idles I hear a tic from the passengers side ( sounds like a single cyl exhaust leak ) but as soon as the Idle drops down it seems to dissappear. also i hear it a little while driving under load at low rpm.
Thoughts? Bad Gasket? Cracked Manifold? or something to do with the emissions stuff on that side?

2nd. head light sprayers dont work, anyplace i should check first? is this a common problem?

3rd. When driving around at normal slow speeds 25-45, when under a light load the engine seems to hesitate sporaticly ( feels like a spark plug wire arcing ) i have no check engine light to reference so anyone who may be able to shed some light on this would be greatly appriciated.

Have you checked to make sure all of your warning lights properly illuminate?

You should see them all when you turn the key to position 1.

If the Service Engine Soon light does not appear to light at this time, it is not working, probably disabled by the previous owner.

Get the codes read, either get an OBDII reader yourself or go to the nearest auto parts store retailer and they will read the codes for you.

Your symptoms should be showing some codes.

All Lights are functional, and display when the key is turned. I also own a code scanner and it only has one code stored. P1590,

Would the SAI somehow cause this noise?

I think the p1590 code is a rough road sensor failure. This usually comes on then your having trouble with ABS, HDC, etc.

If you want to rule out an exhaust leak the best way to check this is to pump air into the tailpipe with a shop vac while the engine is off and stone cold. Then feel/listen for leaks. Just make sure the hose isn't a tight fit since it could hurt your shop vac.

Thanks for the test advice James, Now does anyone one want to chime in on the stumble/hesitation? coil pack, wire, random odd land rover thing? its very subtle, i dont think a non car person would notice, but i know its not right so i want to fix.

How do your plugs and wires look? If they are old I would just replace them and go from there. It's harder to tell exactly what your problem is with no CEL on though.
