Default New problem with pulley

Probably due to coolant being all over the place, sounds like the idler pulley below the ac compressor has given up. What's involved?

This is a common failure part. Just replace it

Ah, figures lol

My lift and tires are taking longer than I expected due to something constantly popping up

Pretty straight forward, pull the top of the shroud for access (leave the hose), use a wrench on the nut for that same pulley to slack the belt enough to slide it off and out of the way, undo the bolt and pop off the pulley with the bearing. Mine just started squealing a few weeks ago so I swapped it with the one from my parts donor vehicle. What I'm not certain of is if you can get just the pulley with bearing, or just the bearing even, or if you have to get the entire assembly. when I get a little extra time I'm going to turn one up from aluminum on my lathe, the factory plastic ones are pathetic..

I'm sure that if you can get the bearing out, you can source a good quality bearing from mcmaster Carr or king bearing (applied.com) or whatever industrial supply you like to use for bearings.

Good time for a new belt if yours is anywhere near due..

My belt is nice so I'm not planning on replacing it yet. Thanks!

It's extremely possible that it'll work. It is the correct size, the part number you need to replace is PQR500060.

Your local auto parts store will have a pulley for this but if you want you could call Rovers North they will also carry what you need!
