Default New project

I’m new to the forum original owner of an 02 disco we finally want to upgrade, lift, tires, front bumper, roof rack.
goal when done is to give it to our son as this was his first car in HS.
any recommendations? I like to keep the factory rims but will coat them black.
Open for recommendations, rookie at this but really enjoy the look of these rides when done right!

If it doesn't already have a ladder, make sure the one you get doesn't have a rung that obscures the license plate. Stereo upgrade. CB or ham radio and antenna. Transfer case CDL shifter. Gauges, or Ultragage, something for monitoring. I am trying to think of useful stuff, not farkles. LED lights around roof rack and rear bumper for back up lights. Winch, winch accessories, spare parts, tool kit. D1 windshield wipers. Gas props for hood. Get a rear bumper with the swing away spare tire mount to get the load off the rear door, and the LT285 spare might not fit on the rear door mount anyway.

OK so making significant progress on this project, most parts have been ordered, including a TF 2 inch lift kit and a front bumper. We decided to keep the factory 18 wheels but will have them powder coated (or painted). The big dilemma now is tire size!!!
The place I ordered the TF lift kit recommends that if I do not plan to do any other cutting etc I should go with 265/60 r18. However I have read in this forum that people are riding this size tire with no lift, etc. My goal is to go with the largest tire I can fit with the lift and the new front bumper without any other cutting in front or rear.
I'm looking for other members riding a 2 inch lift with a steel front bumper and 18 rims...what size tires are you riding and did you have to do anything else to fit that size?
Thx

Nice rides! I was hoping to fit a 285/60 r18 considering the 2 inch lift and the new front bumper. Was the 275/65 r18 the largest you could go with with the 2 inch lift and no further modifications?
thank you for the reply and the pics
