Default New suspension without lift.

I would like to replace my worn out shocks and springs but I don't really want a lift. All of the aftermarket options I see are some sort of lift. Am I stuck with OEM parts or are there other options?

You can either go with the original shocks and springs or Bilstein shocks and springs. I'm sure there are others.

No matter what springs you use, they will lift your truck over an inch, even new factory coils, because that is how much your truck has dropped since new.
One way or the other it is going to have to be raised about 1.5"s, that being the case use the Old Man Emu medium coils with their HD shocks. Lucky 8 has about the best prices and make sure to replace your steering stabilizer also.

The OME medium springs and HD shocks still give you a decent lift over stock height:

I'm pretty sure all the OME springs are longer than stock springs, not sure about the soft springs though.

Over stock specs or over the sagging height your truck was at before the lift, makes a difference. A medium lift won't go more then 1/2" or so over the original factory spec height.

I don't want to go much higher than factory. I want to run the 245/75-16 tires so I don't kill my gas mileage and I'm worried that a higher lift will look funny without going to a bigger tire.

It is about 4" over my saggy old mess of a truck in the front. Anyone know the factory height of the wheel well above the ground? I can measure mine so you can know the difference with a medium lift.

Mine at 140k miles is about 32" from the ground with the factory tire size.

Front 35.5"

This is with factory sized tires 255-55r18

The manual only shows the height from the ground to the top of the roof rails, 78"s.
