Anybody have any suggestions for new tires for a 03 Disco SE? I don't drive off road, but I want a tire that will handle snow and rain. I read the Goodyear Triple Thread is a good tire.

 

That tire is more for cars than trks.
I would recommend the Michilin LTX M/S, they are a VERY good tire, long lasting, quite, great in the snow and also come in LT sizes.

 

Thats right!!!!!!!!! I used the LTX M/S for years on my other trucks very good tire
for on road and 10% off road.

 

Some of the Bridgestone Dueller's are sure with looking into.

 

Toyo Open Country A/t is a good tire. Its an A/t tire but its one of those that preforms well on road in tough conditions such as snow and rain as you mentioned. They have a very quite ride and do well in the snow. I run General Grabber A/t2's and they are great on road and great off road, I would say they lean more toward off road with good on road manners, whereas the Toyo's would lean more toward on road with off road capability.

 

I had a set of those on my 2001 Montero, great tire but a little noisy.
I got about 50,000 miles out of mine.

 

i have a set of BF Goodrich Long Trail Radial T/A tires in the factory size and they are pretty decent for the money. last ~60k and were about $600 mounted... i think. i am actually not positive about the price anymore, it was awhile ago haha

 

General Grabber AT2 tires are what I use currently. Quiet on the street and great grip off road in everything but sticky mud.

Ditto on the General Grabber AT2s. They're quiet on the street, do great off road and look good. I got mine @ tirerack.com.

 

I loved my Nitto Terra Grapplers. May be a little more aggressive than you want though.
