newbie questions
hey guys,
So i've got a '00 Disco II and am looking to do a couple things to it. first off, im going to need new tires soon and was wondering if anybody knew how big you could go on a stock disco before you rub. I've got the stock 16" inch rims on there now. I also was thinking about a small lift (1.75" or so) but dont know how hard thats gonna be because of the air bags in the back. thats for starters but any in put would be greatly appreciated.

You will need a lift first. Send me your tele number and I'll call you on how to lift while having the SLS.
As for tire, what will you be using the truck for? Remember, the bigger the tires, the more power you loose and the lower your MPG.

On the stock suspension height you really can't go much bigger. A 2" lift will allow up to a 32" inch tire though. I would recommend ditching the air bags for coils and get an OME 2" lift, but if you do want to keep your air bags I know some one offers an SLS 2" spacer, I just forget who.
