If it already had an LS swap I think it would be pretty awesome.

I saw one a few years back that had been done like that on a RRC and it was pretty cool to.

For $60k I'd rather get a brand new 4x4 Mercedes Sprinter (diesel).

I think Sixpack got it, but to be clear, I was being sarcastic...sorta...since things on BAT seem to sell quite higher than expected very often

I read this website every day, NP or CP is my favorite section. This time it got a hard CP from me and I use my D2 almost exclusively for camping and outdoor rec! That conversion has way to many unknowns plus it certainly has to destroy the off road capability of the truck, right?

The way some people build out their trunk space and load up their roofs it can't be much worse than that. Plus with the camper mod at least you won't still think you have a normally weighted D2 and still be more capable than the vast majority of the vanlife crowd. Still not paying 30k for it lol
