Default Nitto Crosstek CUV

So I had 2 flats this moring and had to replace 4 tires. The shop recommended crosstek cuv's. 255/55/18

I looked on Nitto's site and they are for light SUV's and crossovers. Are these going to be an ok tire for an 04 Disco?

I would say you just answered your own question. This definitely isn't a light SUV or crossover.

That why I'm looking at P265/60R18 Nitto Crosstek not CUV's Just a little bigger than stock, better tread, and made for light offroad and towing. I think it might be the perfect tire for me. Probably going to have a set put on tomorrow.

they do meet all the requirements, size, load range, and wear, but barely.

So. I ended up with nitto crossteks (not the CUV's) in a 265/60/18. So far so good.

Just to note, as I have seen this question come up. They fit without rubbing on my stock suspension. Full lock turns. Had to trim the OEM front mud guards slightly.

yep. Don't bother with them. Had them on for a week and had them switched out to the standard Crosstek's. The CUV's don't handle the weight well at all.
