Did you install a matching Bosh MAF with the same part number on the barrel? If you used a generic Bosch or an after market MAF, you will still have problems.

Fluid needs to be added with engine running and in N.
You may still be low.

Any thoughts on how many pints are added following the "off engine fill", after she is put through the gears?

until the fluid starts to come back out the fill hole, must be filled WHILE running.

I added about pint after I replaced my son-of-a......tranny cooler line whilst I jumped up and down to the cabin to go forward, 1,2,3, and R. I was tempted to put the rear on ramps and get cheat a little, but fearful of getting bit in the behind with blown tranny seals, I did not take the apple.

what is so difficult fill the tranny, run it threw the gears, and top it off. But the truck needs to be level if you going to put it on ramp you will need 4 of them.

On the last refill/top off, usually the tranny will take about 1 additional quart.

Yes tranny is filled correctly not too difficult. Drove it and checked again and still dripped slightly when check plug removed. Im now thinking its internal transmission because like i said for the first five to ten mins / miles 4th works great then suddenly downshifts to 3rd and no 4th. Sits overnight, same scenario.

OK, different.
does it downshift into 3rd or just not up-shift back into 4th; after 5-10 minutes?
