No dash light

Hi

I got a 1996 LR1 and there is almost no light at the ac control unit. Any suggestion to fix it and is it hard to do?

Same problem in my 97. I think you have to pull the radio and much more to do it.

I'm having a similar problem in my 96 discovery, except, when i turn my running lights on, the tailights would come on, but when i turn the headlights on, the whole dash would go out, and the tailights would go out, but the headlights come on. I can only assume, a relay switch that commonly goes bad in the multi-function unit. I've replaced the fuses for the multi-function unit, and the ignition feed for it. it seemed to work for a little while, then it started happening again, now my dash doesnt light up at all. It's very frustrating. Does anybody have a link to a wiring diagram, for relay switches or anything?
