Default no more amigos?

well i made a post a while ago about my TC and ABS lights comming on but no real answers on it. well eventaully it turned into all three lights comming on so i took my truck into the shop to get it checked out. the shop told me that it was a wheel speed sensor that needed to be replaced i gave him the go ahead only to be told later that it would cost around $600 for everything( scanning the codes, removing them, sensor and labor). since i had to drive back to school the following day i held off on all the repairs but paid them for scanning and removing the codes which was $165. so far i've driven over 250 miles back to school and have had no lights on. so heres my questions: did i pay a reasonable amount and would it be safe to say that the amigos are gone for good having aprox. 250 miles under my belt after fixing it?

Well, you could have replaced the entire hub yourself for $400. The hubs come with new sensors and any older hub will be worn and eventually it'll come back.

Mosttimes, it is just a momentary glitch that sets them off. Keep the codes and if it comes back with the same codes, you know where to start...
