sounds like i have a bird in the dash behind the right airflow vent.
not all the time but when the air flow is high.
thoughts?

Junk in the blower motor, behind and below the glove box.

Let's hope that's all it is. The blower had to be replaced on my 02. keep an eye on it.

No, don't keep an eye on it, remove it and clean it out before it fails.

Sure, it is easy to get in there and remove it. Once you get it out you can check for junk in the or spin the blow cage and see if a bearing is failing.
