I have a similar problem and had sound/video and might be similar. Ill look it up. In my earlier problem post. Very difficult to diagnose.

That jingling noise doesn't sound very serious to me more like something loose on the engine overrun. It's difficult to identify, sounds like loose bolts and/or brackets, but it may be something connected to the exhaust system problems.

Since you seem to notice the vibration while slowing down or turning right...I'd stay with the front end area for further diagnosis.

If you still have it in the air, turn the wheel all the way to the right and spin tire by hand. Watch the axle shaft boot for any unusual movement or binding. Do the same on the other side, it can't hurt to eliminate anything and everything. Check your backing plates, to be sure one hasn't been damaged/bent and is hitting/rubbing the rotor. Sometimes you will not hear rubbing, jacked up and spinning it by hand, but when the weight of the vehicle is added to the force/side pressure, the flex of the rim/tire will allow it to rub.

Also, you say you spun the front drive shaft. Something to look for is any contact of metal housings inside the double joint. Sometimes the u-joints will look good, but the inner bearing is shot and allows the metal housing to hit one another. Grasp the double joint firmly, spin slowly and see If there is any unusual movement or contact of joint housings.

Then check the input flange on the differential (where the front drive shaft bolts up to axle), see if there is any side to side movement or excessive play. Try turning the flange and feel for excessive play, as in, does it seem to go to far before you feel/see it moving the axle shafts. Check fluid in front axle, too. If you feel excessive play, drain and look for metal shavings.

Vibrations can be one of the most difficult issues to diagnose. But, through the process of elimination...you'll eventually find something.

Brian.

My opinion would would be wheel bearings on left wheel. I had mind go bad and when I turned left it would vibrate and make a grinding noise. When it comes wheel herrings going bad it's always the opposite side bad in a turn. I.E.: turn right and noise then left bad, turn left and noise then right bad. Mine made a little noise and I did not think much of it until I was heading back down the mountain and turned left in a hair pin turn and the right wheel locked up.

Thanks for all the replies
there is NO play in any way or angle with the wheels so the bearings are not the issue
The guy I bought the truck from had redone the whole top half of the engine, he is going to sell me another front drive shaft with the Heavy duty U joints put in for 250.00
so I cant beat that at all, and he is going to go through and change the fluids as well
so for that I cant beat it then I will have the old shaft redone and keep as a spare

Was it definitely the drive shaft? The audio(video link i posterd earlier) was my shaft before I replaced last January. Definitely hard to tell. Like what Brian mentioned when the bearing is shot. Hardly noticeable turning by hand, just a small break in the bearing but it will vibrate, clunk and make noise when driving.
