Noob lift question
I know this is a common question but I've searched and found no answer. I want to get a 2" lift kit and a 2" body lift. Do i need to get a front drive shaft or anything else other than just the lift kit and the bl?
Thanks
Thanks
Need info about your vehicle. Year, model to start. As a general rule as long as you stay under 3" of suspension lift you'll be fine with stock driveshafts. The body lift makes no difference in driveline angles, just leaves ugly gaps between body and frame.
If i could get a 3" lift for around the same price i would do it. Or would it be smart to get the 3" spring and shock but not get the rear links and front radius arms?
Thanks
Could do a 2" lift then add 1" spacers to give around 3" of lift. Personally I think a 2" lift with bigger tyres is enough for most people. If you go that high (3") you will probably "eat" propshaft rotoflexes and you will also need extended brake and ABS lines aswell, infact on my D2 I just exteneded the brake hoses with a 2" lift as they were at max stretch with the new Terrafirma +2" shocks installed
With that setup do i need the rear links and radius arms? brake line extensions?
what do i need to space the front cross member?
