normal idle rpm

Can I run the MAF through the dishwasher? What if I set it on delicate?
No, really will any of these work on the throttle body and IACV: electric parts cleaner, engine degreaser, and brake cleaner? These are just what I have on hand I can run to the store for the carb cleaner if it is a must.

Get about 4 cans of cheap carb cleaner and clean up your idle control and throttle body. And as stated in your other post. MAF's do not clean well at all. Mine died after 3 days. Oh and the cleaning didn't cure anything. Electric parts cleaner won't hurt anything but sure expensive. Autozone has carb cleaner 2 for 5 bucks.

Thanks, when you say it didnt help, do you mean when you cleaned the MAF or the throttlebody/IACV ?

Cleaned the IACV and throttle body, they were not that bad, also checked for any vacuum leaks. After all that it still idles the same. Im wondering if I am reading the rpm guage wrong. I thought the tick mark right below the 1 is the 500rpm mark is that right? At closer inspection maybe Im reading it wrong and its the 750 mark. Anyone know what it is?
