That's what happened to mine! The girl saw the needle peg out in the red and "turned on the a/c to cool off the engine".

Ugh, must be a wife thing. The Jeep is apart now. Plastic tank on the rad sprung a leak and she drove it to work in the red. I asked her "WHY???" and her reply, well I couldn't just pull over and leave it on the side of the road.... uhm yes, yes you can.

Hopefully the heads aren't warped :-(
