And now she won't start...
Went back out after the following saga...mad she won't start.

Figured i would see if the exhaust where the manifold comes out and meets the down pipe was able to be snugged up. Sure enough, the 3 bolts were loose on the side that was leaking bad, so snugged them up a bit, and the other side too. Go to turn her over and she won't start at all, and what appears to be exhaust was coming out the air filter. Any clues now?
Not my area of expertise, and the rave isn't really helping me out. Is it possible that one side is plugged up and forcing the exhaust back into the intake? Something bigger like the valves are fubar'd? So odd it just happened like flipping a switch.
Before I go and take the exhaust off at the header I'd love some ideas, as I'm sure I'm going to run into issues trying to get all the bolts out.
Additional info, one cat is rounded where one is thinner and taller, so maybe one has been replaced in the past? Still, no codes prior, and was able to throw a code with the seafoam.

Man...this is a head scratcher. If the timing was all messed up... wouldn't codes be throwing?

I had a Honda Civic that blew back through intake, but still ran, and it was a single jumped tooth. Idle was not too bad, but when you gave it gas, it would pop and blow back.

Salt is conductive big time.
IF you got salt all over the engine - coil wires..
I would put engine cleaner on the engine.
Then spray it all down if it is covered in Salt.
I mean.
If I soaked my engine in water.
Then got a hand full of salt - lots of it.
And threw that salt all over my engine-
the water and the salt would cause trouble.
How many miles on this rover?
