Default bowness it is ...

Hi,

Yep, just ordered two from them - $82 each !

Parts source in town wanted 124 for them and can't get
them anyway and NGK's were $112.

Now, here's hoping they go in easy (dunno, how hard the job is) and that's the fix for the
shuddering at lights - the error codes - and the smelly exhaust. (grin)

We'll see .... Thanks again everyone!

Cheers'
Dave

They are easy to put in, compared to the crankcase position sensors and upper transmission coolers. Have fun. Where did you order them from?

you should soak the old ones in pbblaster while you wait for the new ones, you will also want to clean the plugs with carb. or contact cleaner and add dielectric grease to the connectors.

So looking at Rockauto.com they have multiple listed for this position ranging from $16.34 for down stream sensors to the up stream from API for $21 with the Bosch and Denso at $39 and $43. Does it matter really, as long as they are 4 wire?

the saying "you pay for what you get" "penny wise pound foolish" imho most certainly does apply to electronics. Bosch are considered the factory replacements. With ll the potential little issues that these trucks tend to offer us at any given moment do you really want to go with the cheapest part? Your truck runs rough, bad gas mileage when your 02 sensors are not running and talking to the ECU properly. Just buy the higher quality part that will last loner and be done with it.

It's been my experience that amazon.com (if you have the right bosch part #) typically has best price, and ships everywhere.

Right now, bosch 15175 is $53.57/per with free shipping (prime)

and UPS is a lot more fuel efficient than a disco....

looks like there's 2 upstream (Bosch 15630) and 2 downstream (bosch 15175)
Which ones usually trip the codes?
