Default o2 sensor heater test...

First thanks for quick replys for my first 2 threads. Very helpful. Now, have o2 sensor heater code and dont know which one (of 4). Ohm check of aft 2 heater ok. Unable to access the fwd 2 connectors, (nice, guys). Used the trusty rave manual found here and accessed the ECM connector co635 then OHM the pins to the fwd heaters. Checked the aft and they showed open too. Used co634 connector pin 4 for good earth. Any reason i cant ohm the heating circuit from there. Sure all 4 arent bad from output of ECU,thanks..2 HRS TILL SMOG TEST...clear codes on the fly and give it a try.......

Exactly what was the fault code number, that should indicate which 02 has an issue? How many miles on the engine, have the 02's ever been replaced? I wouldn't try to get it smogged, it will most likely fail because of codes still being held in the system.

Default o2 sensors

107,000 mi. been fixing/clearing codes all week due smog. down to p0741 torque cov lockup and pending codes for o2 sensor and heater. Have a cheap reader. As pending not telling bank etc. Replaced r aft sensor few days ago. As stated tried to do quick heater circuit test on fwd sensors due connector poorly placed and unable to get my 260lbs in there. Again ecm connector co635 pin 1,7,8,13 tried to ohm with good ground in co634 pin 4. all were open. when aft sensors checked at connector under car good. Why cant i ring em from ECU output?. Any info for torq covt lockup or am i pullin valve body?

Even the cheapest code reader should be able to give you the actual fault code number.
As for the 741, that is going to take a tranny shop most likely.
